গ্রামের এক নাট্য শিল্পী পথিক ঘোষ সারা জীবন ছেলে মেয়েদের নাট্য শিক্ষায় শিক্ষিত করে চলেছে। কোনো সরকারি অনুদান ছাড়া নীরলস এবং নিঃস্বার্থভাবে পরিশ্রম করে কলকাতার বহু নামী দামি অভিনেতা অভিনেত্রী তৈরি করেছে। কিন্তু তার নিজের থিয়েটারে দর্শক হয় না। তার সারা জীবনের স্বপ্ন মানুষ টিকিট কেটে হলে এসে তার একটা শো হাউসফুল করবে। এই থিয়েটার অন্তপ্রাণ মানুষটি তার সর্বস্ব বিলিয়ে দিয়েছে থিয়েটারের জন্য।

কলকাতায় তার ছাত্র-ছাত্রী, যারা এখন সিনেমায়, থিয়েটারে বিখ্যাত তারা এই পথিক ঘোষের স্বপ্ন স্বার্থক করতে তার পরিচালনায় একটি থিয়েটার করে। কিন্তু মানুষ এখন থিয়েটার দেখতে চায় নাকি বিখ্যাত তারকাদের মঞ্চে দেখতে চায়...! মানুষটির স্বপ্ন কি স্বার্থক হয় নাকি তার — মঞ্চ লুট হয়ে যায়।

থিয়েটার কি শুধুই বিনোদন, নাকি বিনোদনের আড়ালে সমাজ আর সময়ের প্রতিচ্ছবি।

A theatre enthusiast Pathik Ghosh belongs to the small town "Majher Gram" by profession he is a school teacher but he lived his entire life for theatre. He has spent all his wealth, health, money, time and effort for a dream....a lifetime dream "A HOUSEFULL SHOW" of his theatre. He has relentlessly worked for theatre and as a by-product he has created many successful actors who have left him eventually and joined the silver screen. Pathik Ghosh has seen this acclivity and declivity throughout his life but nothing was able to stop him from working for theatre..his dream...his only love!! In addition he had a bad equation with his family too. For self benefit few of his star students came back to his theatre group named "Rongolok" again to work together for a new production and to work towards his lifetime dream "A HOUSEFULL SHOW". The show was successful....houseful but Pathik Ghosh has lost his ground...!!

In this clash of egos, in this drama of hypocrisy, can theatre win?
