When passion for art becomes a raging fire within, it often leads to something spectacular. Green Room Theatre Cultural Society (popularly known as GRT in the theatre circles) too, finds the roots of its existence in similar sentiments. Determined to do theatre that has the power to move people, shake beliefs and compels one to think,our director Mr. Anjan Kanjilal, joined by his team of loyal believers, formed GRT.

“EBONG SATARUPA” - It was in the 80s, a controversial novel by a top author in Bengal disturbed many because of teenage sex and violence, the case eventually going right up to the Supreme Court.
